Terms for using TradePlug
These terms explain the platform’s role in helping merchants operate storefronts and helping buyers place orders. By creating a merchant account, you agree to these terms.
Platform access to store data
TradePlug platform administrators may access merchant account, storefront, product, order, buyer contact, message, dispute, and payment records when needed to provide support, maintain platform security, investigate fraud or abuse, resolve disputes and refund requests, reconcile payments, or meet legal obligations.
Administrative access to sensitive store or order records is logged with the administrator, the record viewed, and the time of access. Platform administrators are separate from store owners and use a protected platform-admin account.
Merchant responsibilities
Merchants remain responsible for their products, order fulfilment, customer communications, and the information they collect through their storefront. Merchants must use buyer information only to fulfil orders, provide support, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Buyer information and privacy
TradePlug processes buyer information to provide checkout, payment verification, order tracking, messaging, notifications, support, and dispute handling. We limit access to these records to the merchant responsible for the order and authorized platform operations.
